Are you our new Maintenance Manager?

The maintenance department consists of 20 employees, including mechanics, electricians, a property manager, and maintenance planners. In addition to these employees, as the Maintenance Manager, you are also responsible for contracted personnel and contractors. You will be part of the production management team and report to the production manager.

As Maintenance Manager, you will actively work to optimize the availability of the machinery and revise and develop preventative work. Furthermore, collaboration with other functions within the company and union parties is an important part of the job. Particularly important is the collaboration with the production units and constantly working with process development.

Further responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing the maintenance team.
  • Developing and implementing maintenance strategies that minimize downtime.
  • Budget responsibility for the maintenance department.
  • Representing maintenance in the production management team.
  • Participant in the global maintenance development group.
  • Close cooperation with other departments and functions.
  • Responsibility for maintenance of land and buildings.
  • Responsibility for spare parts inventory management.
  • Personnel, environmental, and workplace safety responsibilities for the department.
  • Ensuring that work follows the company's values and principles.
  • Participating in audits such as internal QA, IATF, environmental, and workplace safety audits.
  • Responsibility for the maintenance system.
  • Responsibility for the development of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
  • Responsibility for follow-up, analysis, and technical improvements.
  • Maintaining electrical and fire safety responsibilities.
  • Ensuring electrical safety of the facility and machinery.
  • Actively working on cultural change and leading in change.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this position, you should have a strong focus on results and the ability to lead your team effectively. You must have excellent communication skills and express yourself well in both Swedish and English, in both speaking and writing. Previous leadership experience with good results is required. We also believe that you are business-focused, responsible, curious, and dare to challenge the usual.

It is considered meritorious if you have previous experience in:

  • Working as a Maintenance Manager.
  • Working in the industry.
  • Implementing TPM.
