Project Manager at Suzuki Garphyttan
Do you want to be part of a journey in an organization with ambitious goals? Do you want to work in a company that is global but has managed to maintain its familial feel and invests heavily in project and process development? If the answer is yes, keep reading!
As a Project Manager with us, your primary responsibility is to drive and implement various types of development, investment, and improvement projects. The projects can vary in scope and will contribute to increased safety, better product quality, new capabilities, or higher productivity. You will be responsible for budgeting, planning, and implementing the projects, which means you work closely with suppliers, contractors, production, and other functions in the company.
You report to the Production Manager and are part of a team consisting of employees within production, maintenance, project department, and process development.
We enjoy and have fun at work while having challenging assignments and look forward to you coming in and contributing with both your competence and your commitment.
Examples of work tasks:
To fit the role, we see that you have an engineering degree, similar education, or equivalent experience. You have also worked with project management for several years. Having seen many different types of operations is meritorious but not a requirement. You should have worked on projects within the manufacturing or process industry, and it is meritorious if you have experience in driving projects related to Industry 4.0, automation, or other production solutions with new technology.
We assume that you are proficient in Swedish and English in speech and writing and have a B driver's license.
We see that you are accustomed to independently leading, structuring, and planning projects. You are curious about new technologies and see solutions instead of obstacles. Analytical ability is important in the role, and you work structured to be flexible when needed. As the position involves many internal and external contact surfaces, it is important to create, maintain, and develop good relationships.
As a leader, you are involving, open, and accessible, as well as action-oriented, motivating, and engaging.
